Don't Be Surprised by the Upcoming Jump in Electricity Prices
Direct Energy Business is talking about energy prices across Pennsylvania
August 31st, 2009, Pittsburgh, PA … When PPL’s rate caps expire on December 31, 2009, businesses are going to see a thirty percent (30 %) spike in their electricity bills. However, this spike can be avoided by switching to a retail energy provider.
To help businesses deal with the upcoming changes, Direct Energy Business is launching a Let’s Talk Energy road show - a four-city tour with stops in Scranton, Bethlehem, Lancaster, and Harrisburg.
Each city will be hosting an event aimed at educating businesses on the energy market, legislative issues, market trends, and energy cost management options. "Direct Energy Business has called Pennsylvania home for over 20 years," says spokesperson Dave Grupp. "We have already helped 1,700 customers capitalize on energy choice, and we are launching this tour to help businesses understand the energy market and the impact of the upcoming changes, explain options, and identify solutions that make sense for their business."
Participants at each event will also have the opportunity to win $2,500 energy credit*.
Details for each event are as follows:
September 9th - Scranton - Brennan Hall at the University of Scranton - 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
September 15th - Bethlehem - Hotel Bethlehem - 437 Main Street - 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
